According to the WWF “Wherever there is fishing, there is bycatch—the incidental capture of non-target species such as dolphins, marine turtles and seabirds. A staggering amount of marine life—including turtles, dolphins and juvenile fish—is hauled up with the fish caught, and then discarded overboard dead or dying.” Some fishing ports kill tuna and claim the product to be dolphin safe when dolphins are dying because of the fishing they’re doing. Help stop this by donating to fish protection websites and boycotting fish products.
